Eve, an adoptee who was left on the steps of a church on Christmas Eve as a newborn, feels like she can't move forward in her relationship with her boyfriend, Chris, because she's uncertain as to who she really is and where she really comes from. As a Christmas present, Chris hires investigative genealogist Pam Slaton to solve the mystery of Eve's origin.
