À propos de ce film

A runaway orphan, young Sonora (Gabrielle Anwar) persists at a menial job mucking stables in Doc Carver's traveling stunt show. Her great wish is to become a death-defying "diving girl," but Doc (Cliff Robertson) refuses her pleas. Undaunted, Sonora's gutsy resolve finally convinces him to give her a break. On the brink of stardom, however, a cruel twist of fate threatens to destroy her dream. With the help of a loving friend (Michael Schoeffling), Sonora must prove that if you want something badly enough, anything is possible!

How do I buy the movie that I already rented. I'm not waiting for the trial to go out. Either take my money, or don't. It's pissing me off. I like the movie so much I want to own it. But it doesn't give me the option.

They just don't make them like this anymore! One of my All-Time childhood (and now adult!) Favorites, this is from what I consider the "new golden age" of Disney films, when the writers and directors weren't afraid to go places that might make the audience actually FEEL something profound, even awe-inspiring! This story has the potential to make you laugh, cry, and cheer the main character, Sonora, on---reminding you of a time when you weren't afraid to follow your dreams! Not only is this a powerfully written and acted and inspirational story of one woman's desire to make her dreams come true, it is a story that might inspire you to do the same! The awesome score will take you right into the time period (1920s-early 1930's), and the screenplay will leave you breathless from the impact! Not just a movie for horse-lovers, but a film for anyone who dares to dream. Share this movie with your family today! Recommended for ages 10 and up for some topics that might be upsetting, but ultimately helpful to learn about and can be talked about together as a family. A+++ Not to be missed!

This has been my favorite movie since the first time I watched it 20 plus years ago! My mom let me stay up past bed time on a school night just to watch it for the first time and I wouldn't shut up about it after that. So she bought me the VHS and I literally wore the tape out I watched it so many times!
