I gave this one star because you can't give it 0 stars, this has to be right up there with the worst movies I've ever seen .. the overacting by nicholas cage and laura dern is absolutely pathetic and cringeworthy ... "Southern gothic masterpiece" .. "absolutely riveting work of art" yeah, right .. a more appropiate title for this movie would've been RIDICULOUS AT HEART

A masterpiece. A mindblowing movie in all aspects. Et mesterværk. Uden sammenligning på snart sagt alle områder - herunder kameraføring, plot line, dramaturgi, implicit & explicit symbolisme i udførsel, lydside og ikke mindst skuespil præstationer.
