Very enjoyable - just see it as satire of horror, rather than horror itself. It's almost a western in terms of the protagonist (or a power fantasy) meets horror with dashes of humor for flavor (I have my own dark theory about The Janitor's real purpose being on that stretch of road, but won't spoil the movie for you). Story's bare-bones, but you get some exposition dumps to give reason to most of the motivations/actions. 80% of the lines are delivered well/believably, which is better than a lot of B-grade. Your mileage may vary on that. This is some fun schlock... fans of "true horror" won't feel scared or grossed-out enough by the proceedings, but people who enjoy "Hot Fuzz" and "Nobody" have just found a sweet spot in-between in this Nic Cage camp-insta-classic.

Was looking forward to this movie. So much wasted potential. The demented, mechanical furry robots are the highlight of the film. Nicholas Cage doesn't speak hardly at all but plays a lot of pin ball and loves his Punch Soda - hot or cold.
