영화 정보

Inspired by true events. On an isolated stretch of land 50 miles outside of San Francisco sits the most haunted house in the world. Built by Sarah Winchester (Academy Award®-winner Helen Mirren), heiress to the Winchester fortune, it is a house that knows no end. Constructed in an incessant twenty-four hour a day, seven day a week mania for decades, it stands seven stories tall and contains hundreds of rooms. To the outsider it looks like a monstrous monument to a disturbed woman's madness. But Sarah is not building for herself, for her niece (Sarah Snook) or for the brilliant Doctor Eric Price (Jason Clarke) whom she has summoned to the house. She is building a prison, an asylum for hundreds of vengeful ghosts, and the most terrifying among them have a score to settle with the Winchesters… 2018 Winchester Film Holdings Pty Ltd, Eclipse Pictures, Inc., Screen Australia and Screen Queensland Pty Ltd. A highly enjoyable movie, with high production sets and wardrobe. Good to see the cash being splashed out on a horror production, rather than the usual stay of low budget productions. Also, the storyline was highly enjoyable and could just relax back and enjoy the jump scares, as the plot was easy to follow. A good night in as part of a movie night, it doesn't always have to be arty fatty nonsense, with an SJW hidden liberal message.

Was really looking forward to this..its not a true story tipical hollywood streching the tiniest bit of truth and running with it. The fact is yes she built a house for spirits but thats it. But was so let down wasnt scary didnt have enough mystery and intrigue for me. Was so predictable such a shame as love helen!! Was a tame sweet old fashioned ghost story so didnt love it nor did i hate it

It's OK, some jumpy and creepy moments. But most of it is just confusing to be honest and much of the film is too much talking for half of it
