The perfect movie. Story is well woven, good subtle turns in plot development with a satisfying yet interesting finish. To add to that there was also an interesting fact added to the end of the story. The cast were fabulous, supportive characters were emotional, fragile and coercing the hero to push the story along. This is probably Jeremy's career defining role (in terms of the art of acting). Location, scenery were breath taking yet simple and always followed the plot development like a well orchestrated concierto (I'm a musician, I know this stuff). The shots from camera were well framed and minimal pan used to the necessity of the story transitions whilst remaining intimate and giving gravity to the characters. This is the only movie where a gun has been a necessary tool for an actor and I have thought highly of it's role. The sound was A+++ quality, the dynamic range and control of distant sonic artefacts such as the subtle phase misaligned vocals as they approach the drug house; the perfect balance and capture of voice and footprints in the snow. Compression of the audio also seemed open and natural; the best audio I have heard in a long time. At last google play has 5 stars!

To me it was like this move was written by a 15 year old girl. Some over the top emotionalism (EO's character), wierd dialogue, unlikely escalations in violence, bitter, angry, snarky people everywhere, an ugly revenge scenario and other annoying things like the words on screen at the end that seemed out of place. To be honest if you can suspend disbelief and overlook some flaws you'll enjoy this film, for me I found these things jarring and annoying.

The movie depicts the background story of Hawkeye before he became an Avenger. It shows his training in the mountains of Wyoming as he hunts rabbits. Later he puts his hunting skills to use to track the bad guys and kill them with a sniper rifle, foreshadowing his future exploits as an Avenger.
