Set in post-World War II America, Wings of the Wind follows the journey of Rose Cornell (Nicole Mauck) in her search to find an answer to the age-old question, "If God is in control, why do bad things happen?" Rose struggles with her faith after a series of painful events. She has been abandoned by her mother, her brother is addicted to illegal gambling, and a near-tragic crash has taken away her favorite pastime of flying airplanes.
