desperate to escape her tragic past takes a
job at the family-run Santalino's Italian
restaurant. There she finds friendship with
tough Raychel (music superstar Mariah Carey)
and Kate (Melora Walters) and believes that she
can finally rebuild her shattered life. But when
back room deals, murder cover-ups and drug
smuggling throws Meg into the dangerous
Mafia underworld, the women discover that
survival is going to depend on much more
than the strength of their friendship in this
