Walt Disney Animation Studios' "Wish" is a captivating, animated musical-comedy about the magical kingdom of Rosas, where Asha, a sharp-witted idealist, makes a wish so powerful that it is answered by a cosmic force-a little ball of boundless energy called Star. Together, Asha and Star confront a most formidable foe-the ruler of Rosas, King Magnifico-to save her community and prove that when the will of one courageous human connects with the magic of the stars, wondrous things can happen. Featuring the voices of Ariana DeBose as Asha, Chris Pine as Magnifico, and Alan Tudyk as Asha's favorite goat, Valentino, the film is helmed by director Chris Buck ("Frozen," "Frozen 2") and Fawn Veerasunthorn ("Raya and the Last Dragon"), and produced by Peter Del Vecho ("Frozen," "Frozen 2") and Juan Pablo Reyes Lancaster Jones ("Encanto"). Jennifer Lee ("Frozen," "Frozen 2") executive produces, and Lee and Allison Moore ("Night Sky," "Manhunt") are writers on the project. Original songs are by singer/songwriter Julia Michaels and producer/songwriter/musician Benjamin Rice, with a score by composer Dave Metzger.

The bad: 1. the animation is a compromise between 3d and hand drawn, so looks worse than both. The story starts out nicely but goes into a weird religion: wishes are what drives you. My biggest wish was to own a flying car. Never got the wish. The king seems decent. The songs are boring.

Wish is a real gem!Perfect for 100 years!All is amazing,songs,musics,characters,the style!It’s magnificent!Story is about something important to Walt Disney!References are cool and those at Walt Disney are moving!It reminds me the first Disney!As an absolute fan of the entire Disney universe and Walt,I was extremely moved by Wish,it transmits great values defended by Disney!I love it!It was a great moment,full of magic,dreams,love,hope,funny,moving and catchy!Thanks for making this amazing film!

Insufferable. Dull. Cheap. Aching to the head. And very unfortunate that THIS is what disney coughed up for the Walt Disney 100th Anniversary. Seriously?
