A lonely gaucho lives a solitary existence on a remote farm ever since he witnessed a UFO event. Filmmaker Alan Stivelman - together with the help of well-known scientist and researcher Jacques Vallée -begin an epic journey to help Juan in understanding the deep meaning of his close encounter. This true story shows the long-term consequences of close encounters, proving that no one is exempt from a potential contact.

It does not reveal any incident of juan's alien encounters & what was revealed to him by these beings. The movie is nothing but a psychological portrayal of his emotional experiences during these encounters but dismally fails to answer the question on many viewers'minds... what did he see & experienced which caused such a deep traumatic experience lasting his lifetime. Because of this failure, this movie becomes a drab & boring anti-climax.

This documentary was good, speaking in terms of just "documentaries." It was shot well with the intention of creating a human connection rather than an alien one. Most viewers that actually find this documentary, find it through the fascination of life beyond Earth. That is where this doc fails. The director chose to narrate the impact someone was enduring versus the actual event. If your into humans and how they cant cope seeing an alien craft...by all means watch this doc. If your actually into evidence and theory...watch Unacknowledged.

Priceless and very honest documentary. A lot of respect and love to all brave participants. It's eye opening and a reflection of the stupidity of our propaganda and pure ego fueling based (believe)system.
