This is in my horror movie top ten, I've watched it too many times to count. It's exactly what a horror film should be with an atmosphere of slowly building dread, tension, characters you actually care about & what I think is the best "new" horror icon in Mick Taylor. I was shocked to the bone when I first saw it & couldn't stop thinking about it for days - every time it gets a rewatch I find myself wishing the end turns out differently. It's an absolute must watch for any horror movie fan!!

Wolf Creek is all about Mick, one rifle, a sharp knife and his trusted truck causing mayhem in the outback. It’s been done before numerous times but this particular film steps up gear to spit out a good solid horror film. It’s violent, brutal at times and Mick is someone you warm to with his humour, but he is not somebody to mess with especially in his backyard. Well worth a watch it will certainly keep you interested to the point where you will probably want to watch the next two in the Wolf Creek franchise. The second film is worth watching but it’s not quite as good as the first in my opinion but that’s what a opinion is for, so you decide.

If Crocodile Dundee turned evil: The Film. Something of a hidden gem. Highly effective and jarring horror; thanks to a well-balanced combination of character tension, sustained threat, actual violence and a truly disturbing Villain who never truly leaves the screen! I would highly recommend this film for anyone who appreciates a good, traditional effort at producing solid, thrilling horror. "Based on true events" also tends to lend weight to such a film!
