A beutifull and incredible story which shows a coming of a girl leaving her home planet to fight a war. Such amazing fight sequences and battles. The characters are likable and the story flows and moves quick but doesn't leave anything out. There is so much heart and emotion and it really shows how diana grows from her young naive self to finally understanding the world. I would say the movie was perfect, but as a comic book fan I'd have to say that the last fight sequence didn't realy own up to the first half of fight scenes in the movie, by not being as realistic or epic yet it still being the use of cgi, but I wouldn't say it didn't have as much heart as the rest of the film. This movie is a 100 percent must watch and will most probably change your whole view of superhero films after seeing it.

Rather trope-laden and formulaic. The basic plot is much the same as Captain America, but with a far greater cringe-factor. You have a hero wanting to help the war effort, fighting against a madman with a super-weapon. The bad guy is so evil that he even works against the will of his superiors. In the end, the hero even sacrifices himself to prevent airplane-delivered mass destruction. Oh, and Wonder Woman helps out. Honestly, she's not really the key character. She kicks a lot of ass and beats up the super-foozle, but even he is barely involved. The two supers are actually rather secondary. Far from being, as some have said, one of the best (if not _the_ best) superhero movie to date, this is indeed merely average.

Saw this movie opening night, and I was amazed. Through out the summer, I watched this movie at least 7 more times in theatres. Gal Gadot is stunning and fabulous. She portrayed Diana Prince flawlessly. The movie grabs you and doesn't let go. Though seemingly gritty at times, the storyline tugs at your heart. Humor is placed perfectly, no cracking jokes in the middle of a fight scene- cough cough Civil War- and its appropriate for kids, I thought. The soundtrack is great. Chris Pine portrays Steve Trevor so perfectly. One can honestly not even notice that CGI was used unless you're looking far too hard. As a comic fan, it blew me away and annihilated all other origin storied. I 100% recommend this movie.
