Considered one of the most important film documentations of the late 1960s counterculture in the United States, this film follows the Woodstock music festival in upstate New York in 1969.

I love all the performers who were at Woodstock, but the video of this is horrible. I have a 60" TV and most of the video is just on a small area in the center of the screen, not much larger than my 22" computer monitor. Some of the best guitarists of that era played, and most of what you see is just their face.. Also, it may have been peaceful, but the video also shows how dirty and disrespectful those people were, leaving all their trash behind.

This is my favorite documentary. And with this Director's Cut it is even better than the movie I watched so many times on VHS & DVD. If you want proof that people can come together in the hundreds of thousands and EVERYBODY gets along, this is proof positive! The music has endured and the message in the music still cannot be denied! Peace and Love, power to the people! Peace!

Greatest movie of all time. Right with the concert/festival itself. Woodstock was the greatest festival ever played and put together. Including all the greatest music. Music from: Jimi Hendrix to The Who. Thus movie makes you feel like your actually at this 3 days of peace and music. I wish I could've actually been there to witness it in person.
