The suspense is killer!" proclaims Peter Travers of Rolling Stone in this fast-paced, pulse-pounding epic of the potential last days of the human race. Former United Nations employee Gerry Lane (Brad Pitt) is called upon to help stop the chaotic pandemic that has gripped populations around the world. Even more action unfolds in the unrated cut with intense new footage not seen in theatres. David Denby of The New Yorker calls World War Z the "most gratifying action spectacle in years!

I am sure if you have read the Max Brooks book and already know this film is nothing like the original. This film is terrible for many reasons, but let me highlight specifics: 1) premise - as zombie films go the premise is the worst i have seen. Think 28 weeks later. Only terrible and badly thought out. 2) script- terrible. Its the end of humanity and one man stumbles from one stupid premise to another. 3) cast. Peter Capaldi looks lost, Brad pitt looks constipated. Everyone else looks confused. Bad.

This film is total rubbish. The storyline is crap, never explains exactly why tgr infection started. Its full of camera angle shot errors, one second cars are jammed close together, next scene theres a gap big enough for a vehicle to drive, and it does. The zombie look is lacking. I'm sure they've left us wondering about so much as they may plan to make a second. I hope not though. Dint waste your money.

Ok so I know you see some films and people moan about it not having all the parts of the book included but this movie really is only loosely based on the book. I was so excited that they had adapted this into a film but when I saw it I thought that it was an ok zombie film and an average action film. Gerry Lane in the book just interviews people about their experiences throughout the war, in the movie he's last action hero. They should have made three or four films correlating with each section of the book.
