Barry is a talented mechanic and family man whose life is torn apart on the eve of a zombie apocalypse. His sister, Brooke, is kidnapped by a sinister team of gas-mask wearing soldiers & experimented on by a psychotic doctor. While Brooke plans her escape Barry goes out on the road to find her & teams up with Benny, a fellow survivor - together they must arm themselves and prepare to battle their way through hordes of flesh-eating monsters in a harsh Australian bushland.

Bravo to the film makers, quite the achievement. Beautiful photography and great locations. Very fresh, imaginative ideas. It has very heartfelt moments (which seems to happen in some zombie movies, a focus on Humanity) as well as subtle humour. Not as much gore as one might expect, personally I think this is a good thing. All the actors gave an outstanding, well above par, performance. This has to be the best zombie movie I've ever watched, I can't recommend it highly enough.

A questionable filter distorts the picture and doesn't quite work; but the earnest Aussie humour, well done action, and stuntwork do well to compensate.

Admittedly an awesome horror film. Probably couldnt rewatch it anytime soon compared to some but its a must see for any true horror fans
