关于此电影

Following the critically acclaimed global smash hit X-Men: Days of Future Past, director Bryan Singer returns with X-MEN: APOCALYPSE. Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshipped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.

Really regret watching this. Shlock film, without anything going for it. Horrible script and really phoned-in performances. You can really see the pain behind the eyes of all the actors (they look like they're just reading exposition from a teleprompter at times). Lots of weird nonsensical scenes where they try to explain what's happening right in front of you. Save your money and wait until they reboot the entire X-Men franchise once MCU finally re-acquires the rights and Disney finally does justice to these characters. Some okay action scenes, but it also had some pretty bad CGI for a film that was made so recently.

Ignore the low Rotten Tomatoes rating. This is an amazing conclusion to the latest trilogy. Compelling plot, loveable characters, just the right length. Highly worth watching. Only downside is Psylocke's ridiculous costume.

It disappoints me more than I can express that this movie didn't wow me. I love this franchise, but this addition just wasn't up to par. The acting is good, CGI is good, but the storyline was abysmal.
