Once worshipped as a god, Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant, awakens after thousands of years and is disillusioned with the world as he finds it. It's has easily become obvious that studios won't create any new franchises. Yet again we see a studio backing an old faithful money making franchise. So yes it's the same film we have seen already but slightly different. But there are some decent scenes in it. Flawless visual effects. PS the baddie reminded me of mumrah from thunder cats lol

You would have thought that Bryan Singer would make yet another great X-Men movie like he always does. However this goes to show that sometimes a streak can be broken. A choppy story, laughable villain, and excessive CGI action make this a mess of Comic Book Movie! People seem to think that Last Stand is the worst X-Men Movie, but this clearly takes it's place as the worst. Last Stand was merely a warning for the abomination which would be Apocalypse!

I'm the biggest comic book fan you'll find but this movie was massively disappointing to me. This could have been the X film to end all X films however, it was ruined by a choppy story, masked with awful CGI and one of the weakest villains to ever grace a movie screen. A colossal over indulgence by director Bryan Singer who now needs to stay away from CBMs for all of eternity.
