Decent film with great action and a sensible enough plot. I'm no critic but I feel like the critics must be a bit out of touch to give the low ratings we keep seeing for this. If you like the x-men series you'll like this. Only downside was I thought the producers tried to keep it too serious / tense the entire time, wasn't enough variation in the emotional dynamics of the film if that makes sense. Nice conclusion to the story arc. Worth watching.

This trash of a film is the final nail in the coffin of Fox and Sony produced Marvel films. Keep in mind that all X-MEN and Fantastic Four films to date are not part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (e.g. Avengers, Gaurdians, Thor etc..) and are thus not produced by Marvel Studios. I hope Marvel Studios will resurrect the X-Men and FF franchise to its true potential. Now is probably not the time. Minimum 10years for the stench to clear and these films to be forgotten.

This movie was underrated. I also rented the third John Wick movie which everyone loves and it had no plot! It was just him limping around killing faceless baddies. This movie actually had good action, good acting and great special effects! If people judged it on it's own merits they'd see it's easily as good as first class (if not better).
