Oscar-winner Walter Huston ("The Treasure of the Sierra Madre") received his third Oscar-nomination as Cohan's show business father. Great classic, it did seem to hit a bit of a lull towards the middle. Would recommend watching it definitely.:)

All I have to say. *YANKEE DOODLE WENT TO TOWN RIDING RIDDING ON A PONY STUCK A FEATHER IN HIS HAT AND CALLED IT MACARONI!!!!!*

Loved James Carney in this movie! He definitely earned his Oscar win for his great portrayal of George M Cohen.
