It's not terrible, but it is overlong & often cringey; funny in places, but not something I'd watch again. It nails the book's premise of saying yes more, but the slaughterhouse scene was in poor taste: I get it that the chickens were likely fake (bc in reality, they're struggling and screaming, electrocuted then have their throats slashed whole fully conscious.) If this movie featured dogs chained upsidedown about to be murdered, self-proclaimed animal lovers would've been outraged: But most ppl are speciesist hypocrites - some lives matter more than others to them. But it's not ok. Do you see any comedies about the human Holocaust? No. Still, this was 10 years ago and ppl are gradually becoming less ignorant I guess. Still, pretty blah movie. The singalong was the highlight

Fresh air. Yes Man is easily my most favoured 'light hearted' movie. Jim Carey being the perfect choice.. Anyone want a can of Red Bull? Seriously though, this movie is good as long as you take it for what it is... A playfully eye opening performance.
