Sam (Fran Kranz aus Cabin in the Woods) ist Betreuer des Sommercamps ,,Clear Vista" an einem einsam gelegenen See. Was kann da schon schief gehen? Eine ganze Menge wie der gut informierte Slasher-Fan bereits vermutet. Prompt taucht ein maskierter Killer auf und massakriert die Teamleiter. Doch Sam weiß, wo er Hilfe bekommt! Seine beste Freundin Chuck (Alyson Hannigan aus American Pie, How I met your Mother und Buffy) ist schließlich Verkäuferin in einer gut sortierten Videothek und kennt sämtliche Klischees des Slasher-Genres. Slasher Horror der ganz klar auch eine Hommage an die Klassiker "Freitag der 13" und "Tanz der Teufel - Evil Dead" ist. Ist Fans durchaus zu empfehlen die dem Slasher Genre nicht abgeneigt sind.
