In ZACK SNYDER’S JUSTICE LEAGUE tut sich Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) nach dem selbstlosen Opfer von Superman (Henry Cavill) mit Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) zusammen, um ein Team von Metamenschen zusammenzustellen, das die Welt vor einer nahenden Bedrohung katastrophalen Ausmaßes schützen soll. Doch diese Aufgabe erweist sich als weitaus schwieriger, als Bruce gehofft hatte, denn jeder der Rekruten muss sich den Geistern seiner Vergangenheit stellen, um sich von alten Lasten zu lösen und schließlich gemeinsam eine einzigartige Liga von Helden zu gründen. Doch können Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) und Flash (Ezra Miller) den Planeten noch vor den finsteren Plänen von Steppenwolf, DeSaad und Darkseid retten?

This is an okay movie. If you've seen the theatrical release and were disappointed by how disjointed it was and how things just happened with no explanation then this version fixes a lot of that. The length is a problem but if you can watch it in one sitting then it's a lot more coherent. Okay, but not great, pity there won't be a sequel to explore the universe it finally lets you see.

Great movie! Steppenwolf looks and acts SO MUCH better! Much more coherent storyline. At 4 hours long this is great for an epic movie night with friends. Is broken up into 'Parts', each of which is titled in the movie - good for snack and bio breaks. I found the pacing and action to be well blended with drama and lore. Much darker in tone and essentially a different movie from Theatrical release. It has been compared to 'Watchmen' and I can see the vibe there, but it us much more hopeful and far less tragic. Do yourself a favour. Grab this gem, even if you have the original.

The true version as intended by the director. The villain Steppenwolf, previously dumbed down to an overgrown ogre with an Oedipus complex, now has a purpose. After Superman's death, Steppenwolf has arrived to purge Earth, in wait for the real conquerer and main threat, teased to perfection. While I wasn't a fan of the Icelandic song/girl singing, taken together, this film, in all of its 4hrs, is amazing! Cannot wait for next installment! #Restorethesnyderverse
