In order to resolve their financial woes, lifelong platonic friends Zack and Miri decide to produce a porno film. As more people become involved and the project gets further and further out of hand, the duo begins to realize that they have stronger feelings for each other than they thought.

It's crude. Let's get that out there first. This movie is a hard "R" rating. It's crass, extremely vulgar at times, and, as it said right there in the title, centers around a making a porno flick. However! There's an extremely sweet and romantic side of this film that has stuck to me for years. The ride you take to get there is bumpy and cringe filled. But it only makes the ending so much more captivating. It's a good late night comedy for a couple...not so much for a night with the in-laws.
