Awesome fight scenes and the company of the spontaneous comedy helps to offset the cost of the blood and guts of the movie and I also enjoyed the little bit of romantic elements though not so much due to the fact that Beat Takeshí enjoyed more so "The Action aspect of the Bushìdo and Samuraí" even though not sure if much was even explained through the Thick of the story line in the effort to get the Western audience into the beginning's of what Japan/ Nîhōn Or was it spelled Nihon? I dont know

A plus film by Legendary Martial Artist / Actor / Director Takeshi Kitano. The Blind Swordsman is a must have for all fans of the genre.

Not much I can add that hasn't been said. Best ending to a movie ever.
