In this darkly comedic ode to nerds from every realm, a passionate Game Master of a fantasy role-playing game becomes unhinged when a charismatic hipster joins his group, disrupting the balance of power with an unexpected coup.

The film begins with the classic joke: D&D players are nerds and outcasts. The protagonist lives up to every negative stereotype and never gives the viewer a reason to identify with him beyond pity. He has serious problems which push him to escapism and the storyline does little to change his life. We get to watch 'real nerds' chafe against hipsters as if this line were black and white and when viewers expect a climax, we're left with very little plot development. Unfortunately the issues in this film have NOTHING to do with D&D, and it seems false advertising to brand this story with it, if anything making gamers feel badly for enjoying their hobby.

I came here because I like the work of Director Katie Graham she for a long time did a blog on you tube that was a lot of fun. She played a part in making the doc Brest Worst Movie about the film Troll 2. So this review is for k80ty Graham, I hope she gets to work more
