A stressed out ex-fighter pilot who is afraid to fly but is forced to anyway because the pilots and most of the passengers have food poisoning and on top of that his ex is one of the flight attendants. Sound familiar? You're probably thinking of the comedy movie Airplane! which was based on *this* movie. This movie is not a comedy but is a straight drama. Is it great? No, but it is a solid if dated drama and it is essential viewing if you're a fan of Airplane!
