While flying to his father’s funeral in rural Appalachia, an intense storm causes Marquis (Omari Hardwick) to lose control of the plane carrying him and his family.  He awakens wounded, alone and trapped in Ms. Eloise’s (Loretta Devine) attic, who claims she can nurse him back to health with the Boogity, a Hoodoo figure she has made from his blood and skin. Unable to call for help, Marquis desperately tries to outwit and break free from her dark magic and save his family from a sinister ritual before the rise of the blood moon.

Best voodoo movie i seen so far i myself deal with voodoo and see some pretty crazy stuff when i go to see my root worker papa joe in raleigh nc every weekend.... Those of you that think this is fake .....lol its very...very true

Whew Chile...this moving was outstanding! It wasn't what I expected in a good way. It keeps you on the edge of your seat, and it's worth every penny to rent. Anytime you can watch a movie and loose track of time while watching it, you know it's a great movie. Omari and Loretta were awesome in this movie! I gave it five stars bcuz I had not one regret. Worth the watch and then some!!!
