A decade after Zombieland became a hit film and a cult classic, the lead cast (Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Abigail Breslin, and Emma Stone) have reunited with director Ruben Fleischer (Venom) and writers Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick (Deadpool) for Zombieland 2. In the sequel, written by Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick and Dave Callaham, through comic mayhem that stretches from the White House and through the heartland, these four slayers must face off against the many new kinds of zombies that have evolved since the first movie, as well as some new human survivors. But most of all, they have to face the growing pains of their own snarky, makeshift family.

Ratings and reviews

This could have been very badly done, so I wasn't really sure what to expect from this sequel. The trailer looked pretty good, but the movie had a lot to live up to - especially if it was going to match the comedic genius of the first one. Sure, there was no scene as clever as a zombie chase through a haunted house, but overall I thought the comedy was better sustained throughout the movie. Some of it was a continuation of the first one, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. And the new characters could not have been better. As opposed to some sequels, the creators of this one definitely nutted up!

Time has not been kind to some of these actors and overly kind to others. One thing we can be sure of is that constantly belabouring the same punchlines from the original film is really, really tiring. This isn't a sequel, it's the first draft of the original film.

This movie was available on google play then taken down.. I guess exclusive rights were sold for a period of time in my region.. Probably to foxtel. Its ok, I'll just go and watch it on another website I suppose.
