De avonturenboeken van Loretta Sage zijn gevuld met oude tombes en exotische avonturen, maar dat betekent niet dat ze daar klaar voor is in het echte leven. Als ze ontvoerd wordt door een excentrieke miljardair om een legendarische, verloren stad te vinden, gaat Loretta’s knappe covermodel, Alan, op een heroïsche, maar domme reddingsmissie. Op een avontuurlijke reis door de jungle moet het onwaarschijnlijke stel samenwerken om de elementen te overwinnen en elkaar te overleven om de mythische schat te vinden voor die voorgoed verloren gaat.

A bad remake of Romancing the Stone. The 2 characters have zero attraction to each other. It's very contrived even for a romcom. Sandra does her usual shtick. The huge guy acts afraid, which they think is cute. Oh and Brad Pitt to surprise you in a cameo. The End.

Awful movie. So wanted this to be good but all they did was copy Romancing the Stone, immasculated the male lead and made a nonsensical plot. The movie just didn't have any redeeming qualities and couldn't decide whether it was a comedy or a serious drama/action movie. Can't even recommend to watch for free.
