About this movie

Judd Apatow (Trainwreck, Knocked Up & The 40-Year-Old Virgin) directs Saturday Night Live breakout Pete Davidson in a bracing comedy about love, loss and laughter on Staten Island. Scott (Davidson) has been a case of arrested development ever since his firefighter father died when he was seven. He's now reached his mid-20s having achieved little, chasing a dream of becoming a tattoo artist that seems far out of reach. As his ambitious younger sister (Maude Apatow, HBO's Euphoria) heads off to college, Scott is still living with his exhausted ER nurse mother (Oscar®-winner Marisa Tomei) and spends his days smoking weed, hanging with his buddies and secretly hooking up with his childhood friend Kelsey. When his mother starts dating a loudmouth firefighter, it sets off a chain of events that will force Scott to grapple with his grief and take his first tentative steps toward moving forward in life.

Watched somewhere else , and not for shed loads of money. Watchable and instantly forgettable movie about a drop kick with depression/trauma over fathers death. A talentless individual who cant even be a lookout for a heist in local pharmacy. Meh....look I watched it for bill burr expecting a laugh or two. Spoiler alert ... there isn't any.

How are people complaining about a 14 quid rental price, when if they went to a movie on opening weekend at the cinema and paid for two tickets it's closer to £20+. Its a brand new movie that would have otherwise, had a wide cinema release for the first two-three months anyway. The films great, stop complaining to cheap losers.

Amazing, an truly unique movie. Such an breath of fresh air among all the other Hollywood clichés. Stop rating it 1 star! Nobody's forcing you to rent the movie, stop hiding behind your devices, you wouldn't go to a cinema and complain about the price to a cashier. Your rating the movie not the price. It was well worth every penny, Pete Davidson and everyone that helped make this movie has done an phenomenal job. It honours hero firefighters while showing the effect their sacrifices can have.
