When a powerful bank executive schemes to convert the magnificent Reckless Island, home of the Kelly clan, into a tourist resort, renowned hold-up artist Ned "Reckless" Kelly (Yahoo Serious - "Mr. Accident," "Young Einstein") takes his fight for the common man from the bush of Australia to the boulevards of Los Angeles. His plan is to rob his way through L.A. to raise the million dollars he'll need to buy his beloved island, but instead stumbles his way to stardom as a rock star. The critics call this movie a "visual gagfest... very much in the Serious slapstick tradition" (The Montreal Gazette). Co-starring Hugo Weaving (the "Matrix" trilogy, the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy) and Alexei Sayle ("Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade," TV's "The Young Ones").
