Unfortunately, this is not an easy watch; it is painful, as is her journey. Janae is a dedicated parent, and her love for her boys is palatable. Janae’s disconnection and shunning from her family of origin is gut-wrenching. This movie has no overt political agenda-its just a documentary. This is her life: joys & sorrows.

Based off the thumbnail I was expecting something more soft, warm and touchy... but this film beautiful! The ending left me speechless...

This isn't propaganda or political... this is an incredibly honest portrayal of someone struggling to become something they really don't want to become.
