Why they felt Robert Christgau was worthy to comment on Skynyrd in this documentary baffles me. This guy (Wearing a Yankee shirt, and incorrectly referring to the song "Gimme Three Steps as "Give me two steps") seems like exactly the type of guy Ronnie Van Zant would've abhorred. Then the way Christgau condescendingly criticizes the surviving members of Skynyrd is actually an insult to EVERY Skynyrd fan.

Best show ever...I never knew the right facts about Lynyrd Skynyrd but after watching gone with the wind I know how they got started and what really happened on that terrible night of the plane crash. Ronnie was so smart and gifted he was and still is too me the backbone of skynyrd. I just wish I saw skynyrd live with all the original members

The BEST Skynyrd documentary I've ever seen- and I've seen many. One of my favorite bands since high school, this doc showed me just why that is. Detailed, footage, interviews and firsthand accounts of their entire history. Worth repeat viewing- again and again.
