Actions of the main characters make no sense. They seem to have lost all capability to think critically just for the sake of the plot. The plot by the way has no real twist and left me feeling unsatisfied. It was a long, mostly boring movie and I would not recommend it to anyone. It definitely doesn't fall under the category of a typical horror movie.

I honestly wish I could remove the sickening and disturbing images of this movie from my memory. I don't agree with this type of horror movie which has no whatsoever storyline and the only focus is to show you how a human can suffer and get killed in tremendous ways of cruelty. This movie doesn't leave you with any feelings toward characters, story nor it inspires any discussion. This movie leaves you with many disgusting images and a big fat w.t.f in your mind. How on earth we waste money on such things and call it art?

Definitely not for everyone. But if you liked the directors previous film (Hereditary), this will probably be up your alley. It's slightly similar to The Wicker Man (both make interesting use of a bear suit!), but much more cult focused. Not quite as good as Hereditary, but a fine movie nonetheless. The opening scene before the title is pretty gruesome in a real life sort of way. Also some VERY strong violence in the later parts of the movie; if that's not your thing, then try another movie.
