Easy, interesting answer to where food on plate at a fine restaurant comes from going from Farm to Table. Chef Horn creates a local plate of fresh ingredients from potatoes to meat. Healthy eating high style

As a Canadian farmer, this film does an excellent job capturing the reality of Canadian farming practices. My wife is a teacher and she planned on showing her students the American film, Food Inc., but we found that Before the Plate is much better for a Canadian audience. Many students in her class admitted that, before watching this film, they thought farmers were "lazy" and "stupid"! However, after watching it, they realized how much education and hard work is required to be part of the agricultural industry. They spent a month learning about agriculture and they voted that this film was the #1 reason they finally changed their minds about farming and farmers. Myself, my wife, and her students give this film 5 stars for showing the public the truth about Canadian farming!

This film shows the reality of Canadian agriculture. We are so fortunate in Canada to have a safe, reliable, innovative and sustainable agricultural sector and this film proves that.
