HOLY CROW! THAT WAS SO EXCITING!! I must now buy the soundtrack, read *all* the Tin Tin books ever (I've only read a couple so far) and get my hands on the screenplay if it exists. What a thrill ride! And I love his apartment: I'm gonna deck mine out in similar fashion! So this kid journalist buys a model ship carrying a secret that someone else is after and that someone will stop at nothing to get it: Suddenly, Tintin is plunged into an Indiana Jones type adventure! It's not quite flawless however: Didn't like it when Tintin blames Snowy. Also, the cow scene: In reality, "dairy" cows are raped to forcibly impregnate them so they lactate, their male babies are taken away and slaughtered for veal or, if female, face a miserable life of repeated rapes, pregnancies, child abductions, and are milked to death, dying around age 4 instead of 25 or so; so that scene didn't sit well with me. Then there's the mention of "piggy leather" - that was SomeONE who had their skin ripped off while still alive. It's not OK to normalize the current Holocaust, you know, the one that's killing trillions and destroying our only planet as well as us? Aside from those points, GET THIS MOVIE RIGHT NOW! It's totally worth buying! I'm so excited right now I even want to dress like him and Snowy is so lovable! How did I miss this at the theater?! Never mind - I've caught the Tin² bug now: It's all good! WHERE'S THE SEQUEL SPIELBERG?? GET ON WITH IT PLEASE!

Wonderfully crafted film adaption of herges tintin. How long wiĺl it be before technology creates CGI that can't be distinguished from the real thing? Not quite there yet with TINTIN, but the CGI is well done. The pores of the skin/the wavy hair show life individuality and add to the an already funny & entertaining story. My hope is they add to this film with a sequel that brings Tintin Destination Moon/Explorers on the Mòon to the silver screen, and to a new generation.

Severely underrated. No other adaption captures the nature of the original media so well. Tintin is a delightful blend of action, mystery and of course slapstick comedy. Fans of the books will notice where the lines cross particularly.
