23 Blast is based on the amazing true story of high school football star Travis Freeman. In the fall of 1997, Travis was unexpectedly stricken with an infection that destroyed his optic nerve and left him with total, irreversible blindness. Under the influence of parents who loved him, a physical therapist who challenged him, and a coach who inspired him, Travis showed true bravery, determination, and unshakeable faith by returning to the sport he loved, helping his team go on to become champions.
