Very accurate, historically. Admiral Yamamoto never said tat line about awaking a giant, but I can guess he thought it. Critics say that it's bad because we know how it ends? That's a BS point. It's also not Japanese propaganda, it's more focused on historical accuracy. Much better then it's newer, worse movie by the name of "Pearl Harbor". Little to no CGI, all practical effects.

Critics say the movie is boring, kind of agree but the price is right and I like the history. What would of happened if the warning signs would of been acted on. Would the war even happen, or without the set back the US may of won the war early,
