After Scott and Kate Johansen (Will Ferrell and Amy Poehler) lose their daughter Alex's college fund, they become desperate to earn it back so she can pursue her dream of attending a university. It gets pretty violent, and the characters are very hard to like. It's the kind of unbelievable story that I'm happy to go along with when the characters/jokes are compelling, but that wasn't the case.

Typical Will Ferrell movie. Laugh out loud funny in quite a few spots and a bit OTT in a few places. Overall good chill out comedy.
