About this movie

October Baby tells the story of Hannah, 19, a home-schooled Baptist who is told by a doctor that her ailments (asthma, seizures, moodiness) are the result of being born prematurely after an abortion attempt. Hannah sets out to find her birth mother, a quest that ends in tears and, ultimately, a lesson in forgiveness delivered by a Catholic priest.

This is an amazing movie. Most people probably feel it is an anti-abortion movie but to me the message was more about redemption and the miracle of forgiveness. This movie will make you laugh and will make you cry. It is a powerful story that shows that we all need forgiveness in our life to heal. outstanding job by the Erwin brothers. Side note: Chris Sligh from American Idol plays B-Mac. He also wrote and sings some of the music for the film.

This is a must watch film, highlighting the heartbreak that comes with abortion, and the healing that everyone can find in Jesus Christ. It was very well done, and has light-heartedness in many parts as well. I love how in the end it shows what happened to each main character. The Erwins did a great job and post-abortive mothers might find this healing watching it. The cast also made it feel real. I hope others are as blessed by it as we were.

this is one of the most touching and moving movies I have ever watched. It brings me to tears no matter how many times I watch it. It is one of my favorite movies ever. 100/10 recommend watching this movie.
