My true complaint is that Google doesn't do refunds for rentals. Even though I only watched 30 minutes of it. The plot develops slowly and the effects are as horrible as you would expect. I like bad movies but this one tests my patience.

This is a good movie for people who love a good story. Not sure where people think it's cheesy. Just wait until your pop movies from "today" are dubbed cheesy by your kids and grandkids. I'm also baffled by those who think the Broadway adaptation is better. That musical makes fun of this movie, and completely missed the point. The music in Xanadu is great, and for those who don't like it...too bad.

One of my most favorite movies growing up and still is. This was the last movie that Gene Kelly made before passing away and he looked amazing in it. This movie is a nod to the 1940s and the electronical era that was about to begin in the 1980s. Strange combo but to me it some how works. This movie is full of dancing, singing and roller skating. The majority of the music is by The Electric Light Orchestra and of course the beautiful Olivia Newton John.
