About this movie

Robert Altman's Nashville is an explosive drama and a human comedy that delineates and interweaves the lives of 24 major characters during five days in the country music capital of the world. Although its setting is Tennessee, Nashville is a much broader vision of our culture, a penetrating and multi-level portrait of America at a particular time and place.

I enjoy all types of movies, this one is funny, takes your breath away. The performance of each actors is amazing. I will watch it over, maybe I missed something. Get it, you won't be disappointed.

I saw this during its theatrical run and still - over thirty years later - watch it twice a year. Make sure you buy the version with Altman's directors commentary. AMAZING!

“It’s a pure emotional high, and you don’t come down when the picture is over; you take it with you.”
