For those, like me, who live in Louisiana, much of this is not new information, but it is presented in a context that is unusually well founded. Every citizen of Louisiana should see this movie. Every US citizen should see this movie. Everyone should see it. It is a demonstration of how, even in a country that prides itself on living under a rule of law, money can buy a corporate free pass. Often in the US we have a feeling of superiority over countries and peoples whose welfare is endangered by corporate bribery. Yet, here in the USA we allow corporate oil to buy their way to a seat above the law and above the safety of our workers and the rights of citizens. Watch this movie! And, while you watch be sure to take notice of the music performed by Sonny Landreth, one of the greatest guitar players alive today.
