About this movie

From Academy Award-nominated director Jason Reitman (Up in the Air, Juno), Labor Day is "a romance to root for"* starring Kate Winslet and Josh Brolin as two strangers drawn together under incredible circumstances. What starts as an unforeseen encounter over a long holiday weekend soon becomes a second chance love story in the unforgettable film that critics are calling "satisfying and deeply touching"***Karen Durbin, Elle**Rex Reed, NY OBSERVER

But as someone who also suffers from anxiety and is almost never able to leave the house, I was strangely touched by this movie, that I would normally never have given a chance. Something quietly comforting runs trough the narrative and left me a happier, calmer person for the rest of that night and possibly beyond.

Kate winslet is fantastic as always, really start to feel her pain with her agoraphobia/anxiety. Emotions changed from happy to sad and vice versa time after time, a really great movie.

Mad how he got 15 year for the original offence and 10 year for kidnapping at end of the film but then goes back to her when he gets out okay lol
