As someone who is an ally of the LGBTQ community, I was incredibly grateful that Clea DuVall directed a LGBTQ film based around Christmas. However, I would have been happier if Harper and Riley ended up in a relationship, or if they had looked at the beginning of the relationship. Overall, it could have been improved. Best scene is any with Dan Levy!!!

Is this spectacular filmmaking? No, but seeing 'me' in a mainstream Christmas film made me happy in ways it's hard to describe. There are better and more profound LGBT+ films in the world but this really gave me an insight as to why romcoms are so popular. There's no trauma, no pity, no porn, just a lesbian couple living their normal lives. I love it. Thank you (again), Clea!

This was a very good movie, it highlighted the struggles of a woman who was in a lesbian relationship, but had never come out to her family, she nearly lost the love of her life because she was scared to tell them, and I must admit I felt really sorry for her girlfriend who had to put up with some really awful things because of it, but I was happy they got there in the end.
