I'm in no way a movie critic, but this movie is so well done in my opinion. Maybe I'm partial to Valenzuela's music, but his short story of fame only makes this movie that much more impacting.

@the time this movie was made I was in school with Los Lobos singer s daughter, I remember how excited we were that her dad was doing the movie, I still love it to this day ,its a great movie.

One of my favorite films of all time. Amazing acting, music, and portrayal of the young Ritchie Valens in his quick yet short rise to fame.
