The prequel story traces the origins of the centuries-old blood feud between the aristocratic vampires known as Death Dealers and their onetime slaves, the Lycans. In the Dark Ages, a young Lycan named Lucian (Michael Sheen) emerges as a powerful leader who rallies the werewolves to rise up against Viktor (Bill Nighy), the cruel vampire king who has enslaved them. Some people its a story.and very great story. It show how women can be powerful and not need help from men .but if u like stories like this buy or rent it.u want be disappointed

I love this Underworld because personally ever since I was little I've always loved werewolves and this goes in-depth to there story Lucian's story and how the war began between the lycans and vampires.

Especially when this film tells the story of how the war started.....while there are reprising roles and sure they do a great job and there are great fighting sequences. Sadly though the climatic part of the film will leave fans disappointed which was the main focus of the film and whole movie series (up to the second one at least) just rent this film but do not buy it
