Amazing, glorious movie; they simply don't make them like this anymore. The singing, dancing & comedy are unmatched; I laugh harder each time I see it. And the legendary stars--Duke Ellington, Ethel Waters, Eddie Anderson & Lena Horne's beauty is Mythical!

Cute classic movie with a magical cast. Ethel Waters, Lena Horne, Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong... And to have an all African-American cast with a storyline that transcends race is such a rarity for that time. I laughed so often and the dancing was great. Moonwalking in tap shoes!
