A guilty pleasure, I enjoyed this movie for what is was. It's cute, has some charm, and Terence Stamp is of course the star of the show - even with Eddie Murphy having top billing. Additionally, Mark Mancina's score was underappreciated, I feel. Take it for what it is. One shouldn't expect any competent moviegoer to think this film to be life-changing cinema.

Cute, a good family flick. My 5 & 7 year old got spooked at 2 seems but Eddie Murphy comedy helped them recover quickly.

Its a fun movie! No lessons, no bs deep meanings! Just an hour and a half of entertainment. Hollywood used to make movies that were just entertaining!
