Imagery was most poignant between Alex and her Father’s dynamic, evolving throughout unfolding events. In the beginning it’s just them; another set of characters introduced; by the conclusion with the final character... Loved the thematic elements intermingled with the setting: deceptive simplicity of the time machine’s physical design against the unruly aesthetic of nature, Alex’s prosthetic arm literally “guiding” us to wrap our psychology around the possibilities exploring our own “grasp” on consciousness & its future implications. A complex topic; indeed. At times felt silly, didn’t personally care much for other 3 actors. Also, the last scene was the least satisfying part... dead giveaway although told from perspective of a young girl, certainly not written by anyone who ever was one.
